Marketing has a trust problem.
I built this page to make that easier.
If you are considering hiring me, referring me, interviewing me, or simply trying to decide whether I know what I’m talking about, this page is here to show you the proof clearly. Not hype.
Not borrowed status. Just real background, real results, real endorsements, and a clear explanation of how I work.

Most marketers come from marketing. I didn’t.
Before I ever wrote copy, built funnels, or worked on conversion, I spent 12 years as a paramedic. That background shaped the way I see people, pressure, communication, and trust.
It also shaped the way I market.
My work is built on the idea that better marketing does not come from louder claims or more manipulation. It comes from understanding what people really want, what they are struggling with, what they are afraid of, and what they need to hear in order to trust the next step.
That is the foundation of Empathic Marketing®.
It is also why my work tends to go deeper than surface-level tactics. I focus on message resonance, emotional clarity, offer strength, and honest positioning so businesses can attract the right people, convert more of them, and become easier to trust.
It’s a different approach than typical marketer talk. And in a space full of hype, that difference matters.
The best way to judge a marketer is not by how confidently they talk. It is by the quality of their thinking, the results they help create, and the people willing to vouch for them.

Founder of Marketing Funnel Automation and one of the most respected direct response marketing strategists in the industry.
Hey, what’s up everybody? Todd Brown here from Marketing Funnel Automation, and I want to talk to you about Mike, The Marketing Medic.
Look, if you’ve got a funnel that is broken, that maybe is not performing as well as it should be, that is not generating the sales that you’re looking for, that’s not bringing you the customers that you’re looking for, there’s possibly nobody better that I would recommend you go to to have your funnel fixed than Mike, The Marketing Medic.
This is a guy that understands the tactics. He understands the strategy. He understands the idea. He understands the offer. He understands how to make it all congruent with traffic overall.
This is a guy that understands the solid foundational aspects of taking a broken funnel and making it work for you, making it produce for you, bringing you sales and new customers.
So if you’ve got a funnel that needs fixing, that needs a little help, that needs a little boost, go to Mike, The Marketing Medic. I can’t recommend him enough.
Entrepreneur, co-founder of ClickFunnels, and best-selling author known for helping popularize modern funnel-based marketing.
Hey, my name is Russell Brunson. I want to make a really quick video to tell you a story about my friend Mike.
He joined our coaching program about a year ago and was building out his first funnel and getting things live. He turned on some Facebook ads and started running ads to his offer. He then asked John on my team to critique and review his ads.
About 30 minutes later, John came back and said, “His ads are better than mine. I’ve never seen someone get costs that low with targeting and all the different things he was doing.”
I figured maybe Mike had been doing Facebook ads for a long time. John said, “No, this is his first campaign.”
We started looking at it more closely. I’m not the one on my team who runs ads, but John showed me what Mike was doing and I thought it was pretty cool. At first, I wondered if it was just a fluke or beginner’s luck.
Then Mike came through our funnel consulting program, so I had a chance to see more of what he was doing. He was taking that same skill set and using it not only to build funnels, but also to drive traffic for people. I got to see case study after case study, and it became clear that he has a really unique ability to understand the marketplace, figure out targeting, understand the customer, and drive ads at a much lower cost than I’ve seen almost anyone do.
But I think what’s even more important than that is this: you can find people to run ads for you, but Mike cares about you and your business at a different level than I’ve seen from almost anyone out there.
Even on my internal team, I don’t get daily reports. With Mike, you get updates every day on what’s happening in real time. That means you’re not spending a bunch of money and then finding out two weeks later that your funnel is broken. You know day by day what’s working and what’s not.
He’s someone who really cares about his clients and cares about their success.
So if you’re looking for someone to watch your traffic, pay attention to your business, and make sure what you’re doing is actually working, I recommend Mike 100%. He cares, he does great work, and he’s someone who can help grow your business.
Mike was also featured publicly by ClickFunnels in promotional materials, including an Inner Circle newsletter case study and a paid ad campaign that generated more than 1,200 reactions, 261 comments, and 366 shares.

Founder of Moolah Marketing and a well-known marketing strategist focused on audience growth, content, and business building.
Hey guys, I’m Rachel Miller of Moolah Marketing, and I’m here today to tell you how Mike Caldwell and his Marketing Apprentice program helped completely revolutionize my business and, frankly, my life.
A year ago, I met Mike, and at the time I was an overworked entrepreneur. I had multiple businesses, and none of them were super successful in my mind. They were floundering, and I was floundering.
Today, I get to hang out in my messy backyard with my kids and my dog. The stress of my business has gone down dramatically, and I’m getting to have more of an impact and do what I love.
Mike helped me find what I love.
I was in a high-level mastermind at the time. He found me running multiple businesses. I was even debating joining the ClickFunnels Inner Circle program. Instead, I found Mike on a Zoom call, and he said, “You need to stop chasing your bees.”
I asked what he meant, and he said, “You’re chasing bees. That’s what your businesses are. You’re chasing everyone else’s dream for you. You need to do what you’re good at.”
As I talked with him over the course of several months, I learned what I am good at, what my passion in life is, and what my gifting is. He helped draw that out of me. Then he connected me to other resources that I could use to grow.
After connecting with Mike, I started my business, Moolah, and in the past four months I made over $200,000 from the business I started.
I would have never started that business if it weren’t for Mike and his guidance as part of the Marketing Medic apprenticeship.
So if you are looking for someone who can help clear out the clutter in your head, connect you to resources that can help take you to the next level, and help reduce the stress in your business, Mike has been that person for me.
He’s even helped me think about where I should be focusing. He reminds me that my focus should include my life, my house, my kids, my yard, and playing with my kids, while also figuring out how to build the business in a way that works for me.
I’m grateful I had Mike as a mentor, and I hope you get to benefit from him as well.
Entrepreneur, Amazon seller coach, and founder of The Seekers Guild.
Hey, this is Troy Olds, and before I head out on a hike, I wanted to put together a video for my friend Mike Caldwell.
Mike Caldwell has helped me in my online business as well as my offline business, and just as a friend he has helped me tremendously. But specifically for this testimonial, I want to share how much he has helped me in my online business.
I created one of my Amazon coaching programs and spent 100 hours working on it over the holidays. Then I went out and tried to get traffic to it, and it flat out did not work. I thought I had wasted 100 hours. You put that much time into a project, you want it to earn you some money, you want it to convert, and this one wasn’t even getting the traffic necessary for it to convert.
So I called my friend Russell Brunson. Anybody who is anybody in the online world knows Russell Brunson. He’s as sharp as they get. I told him I needed some help with traffic, and he said, “You know Mike Caldwell. He can’t dance, but he can run traffic like crazy.”
So I called Mike, and we had a great conversation because he’s a real guy. He lives out in Canada at what he calls The Ark. He’s living the life of his dreams, growing organic food, tapping maple trees, running dogs, and creating amazing outdoor adventure programs. He’s a really good guy, very much into nature, and also very much into building relationships.
I started working with Mike, and at the time the numbers I was getting when running traffic for myself were about a buck a click, which gets expensive really fast. There are headlines to test, constant management, and all of that was on top of an already full plate.
What Mike did for me was grab me by the arm and say, “Look, this is where you’re screwing up. This is where you’re doing it right. Let’s get rid of what you’re screwing up on, let’s work on what you’re doing well, and let’s turn this into something workable.”
Within a month, we got those clicks down to 13 cents a click. Anybody who knows this game knows that’s a tremendous accomplishment.
I just got off the phone with one of our new clients for The Seekers Guild, our Amazon coaching program. Our coaching program is not cheap. It’s $2,000, and we just closed a $2,000 client this last week. We’ll have another one next week and another one the week following. For those of you who understand how fast that is, getting a project rolling to where you can produce that kind of profit in a 30-day timeframe is significant.
That’s what we’ve been able to do working with Mike in a very short period of time.
Mike’s my guy. Mike Caldwell, The Marketing Medic. If you are just starting out, he’s your guy. If you are experienced and want to hand off traffic to somebody who is one of the best, Mike is right there at the top. I highly recommend Mike Caldwell. He’s a wonderful guy and a good friend as well as a business asset.
Owners of Agape Fitness Boot Camp, a community-focused fitness business.
Steven and Andrew Badger Transcript
Owners, Agape Fitness Boot Camp
Mike Caldwell:
Hi, Mike Caldwell here with Steve and Andrew Badger. They’re the owners of Agape Fitness Boot Camp, and I wanted to give them a chance to introduce themselves and tell you their story.
Steven Badger:
Hi, my name is Steven Badger. Along with my brother Andrew, I’m one of the owners of Agape Fitness Boot Camp. We’re a fitness facility focused on helping our community get healthy. We try to create a family feel, and we offer about 15 different types of classes and programs. Our goal is to keep the community as healthy as possible and reach as many people as we can.
Working with Mike, we knew we needed to reach a bigger market and build more of an online presence, which was something we didn’t really have before. So we wanted to see what he could bring to the table and how he could help us grow.
Mike Caldwell:
When we first started, what were your goals and expectations?
Steven Badger:
Before meeting Mike, we were signing up about three or four people a month. Our expectation was to double that, maybe get four or five signups every couple of weeks.
Mike Caldwell:
How long did it take to get your first signup once we launched the campaign?
Steven Badger:
Right out of the gate. I’d say within the first few hours we had our first signup.
Mike Caldwell:
Do you know how many signups you had in your first month?
Steven Badger:
In our first month, we had around 35 new signups.
Mike Caldwell:
So you blew past the 12 per month you were hoping for. The initial offer was a three-week, $49 offer, right?
Steven Badger:
That’s right.
Mike Caldwell:
That means you made about $1,470 in the first month just from the initial offer. Do you know what your conversion rate was from that offer into your full membership?
Steven Badger:
It was roughly 50 to 60 percent, which was amazing.
Mike Caldwell:
And the six-month membership was $99 a month, correct?
Steven Badger:
Yes. Six months of unlimited boot camp for $99 a month.
Mike Caldwell:
So if around 15 people converted, that worked out to about $8,910 from the membership offer, plus the initial offer revenue, for a total of roughly $10,380 in your first month.
Steven Badger:
That’s amazing. Not bad at all for the first month.
Mike Caldwell:
And what was your Facebook ad budget?
Steven Badger:
Only $10 a day.
Mike Caldwell:
So about $300 a month in ad spend generated roughly $10,380 in sales.
Steven Badger:
Absolutely.
Mike Caldwell:
Before working with me, you had hired another marketing company. Can you describe the difference?
Steven Badger:
We did work with another company trying to create the same kind of online presence. We spent a good three months with no results at all. They went through a long research process and we thought they had everything under control, but the end product was never delivered.
Mike came in and within a couple of weeks we had our product ready to go.
He works differently than any other company out there. First and foremost, he cares about you as a person and about what you do. Every dollar spent has a purpose. It’s not just spending for the sake of spending.
What stood out to me was that he was able to bring everything together. We didn’t have to work with three different companies to accomplish different tasks. We worked directly with Mike to accomplish the whole thing, and that kept everything aligned. Every goal we hit was a win for us.
Mike Caldwell:
What were the three biggest things I helped with?
Steven Badger:
The big things Mike did were build out our testimonials, create phenomenal testimonial videos, and link those into the funnel. Once we added those testimonials to the funnel, it really boosted our advertising. The third part was getting our Facebook advertising working like a fully functioning engine. It’s been great ever since.
Mike Caldwell:
What has the day-to-day support been like?
Steven Badger:
It’s been 24/7 support. Not just email or text, but live support. If there’s something we need or something we’re having trouble with, we can contact Mike right away. That’s been really helpful.
Mike Caldwell:
And how would you describe the transparency?
Steven Badger:
Clear as day. You know exactly what’s going on. There are no secrets and nothing hidden. The client is always aware of what’s happening.
Mike Caldwell:
Would you recommend my services to other businesses?
Steven Badger:
Absolutely. I would recommend you to everybody. Every business owner I talk to, I’m always looking to see how Mike could help them.
Mike Caldwell:
I think in the last two weeks I’ve received three referrals from you guys.
Steven Badger:
And more will come. Our success is based on what Mike has done for us. When people ask how or why things are working, it’s Mike, 100%.
Mike Caldwell:
Thanks for taking the time, guys. I really appreciate it.
My work is built on a framework I call Empathic Marketing®.
It is not a claim that I invented persuasion, direct response, or market psychology. I did not. My thinking is heavily influenced by proven marketers and classic principles, especially the kind of market understanding found in Eugene Schwartz’s Breakthrough Advertising.
What I have done is take those timeless ideas, bring them into the online world, and make them more usable for modern business owners.
I have developed original tools within that framework, including the 4Ds of Transformation and the MAP process, to help turn strategy into action. I also put strong emphasis on aligning the Avatar, the Message, and the Structure so the business is easier to understand, trust, and respond to.
To a seasoned direct response marketer, some of this may sound familiar. But to many of the HVAC, chiropractic, dental, and service-based businesses I work with, it is a major shift from the expensive, vague, brand-heavy marketing they have been sold for years.
That is where the value comes from.
I help businesses move from unclear, generic marketing to messaging that is more direct, more relevant, more measurable, and more likely to convert.
And now, in the age of AI, that same clarity also helps businesses become easier for machines to understand and recommend.

A big part of AI Visibility is making a business easier to understand.
That does include on-page content. In my experience, especially when people ask deeper, more specific questions rather than broad “best in category” searches, the content on the page often does much of the heavy lifting. Clear language, specific proof, strong positioning, and a well-structured page matter a great deal.
But that is not the whole picture.
AI Visibility also depends on how that content is shared, supported, and connected. Technical structure matters. Off-page signals matter. Consistency across platforms matters. The easier it is for both people and machines to access, interpret, and verify what a business does, the stronger the trust signal becomes.
That is why I do not treat AI Visibility as a trick or a loophole. I treat it as the outcome of clear messaging, strong proof, sound structure, and a business presence that makes sense both on and off the website.
I am not claiming to control AI platforms or guarantee rankings. What I do understand is how to strengthen the message, the proof, the structure, and the supporting signals that make a business easier to trust and more likely to be surfaced.
That is one reason this page exists.
It makes the story, the proof, and the credibility easier for both humans and AI systems to understand without having to piece it together from scattered pages.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to speak on respected stages, appear in interviews and media, and be featured in public-facing marketing and business platforms.
That includes giving a TEDx talk, speaking on two Savant eCommerce stages in Toronto and New York, and being asked in New York to keynote and host a roundtable.
I have also appeared in television, podcast, and radio-style interviews, including WHAS News 11 - ABC, The Garlic Marketing Show, The #BeReal Podcast with Travis Huff, Win the Hour, Win the Day with Kris Ward, The Start Up on LA Talk Radio with Monique Lore, and other marketing and business media.
In addition to private endorsements, I have also been recognized publicly. That includes being featured by ClickFunnels in promotional materials, including an Inner Circle newsletter case study and a paid ad campaign that generated strong public engagement.
None of that replaces results. But it does add another layer of verification.
It shows that my work, thinking, and story have been considered credible enough to be shared on public platforms, by real organizations, in front of real audiences.

If you’ve made it this far, you probably fall into one of three groups.
You may be trying to decide whether I’m the right person to help with your business. You may be researching how AI Visibility, messaging, and conversion really work. Or you may simply want more proof before taking the next step.

That’s a fair question. Marketing has more than its share of inflated claims and borrowed authority. This page exists to make my background, results, endorsements, and public recognition easier to verify in one place. Plus, I'm Canadian. I live off grid in the woods. And I'm a huge dog lover!
Apart from the four (or maybe five now...) dogs? My work is shaped by both direct response marketing and 12 years as a paramedic. That combination led me to build Empathic Marketing®, an approach focused on message resonance, emotional understanding, honest positioning, and conversion.
No. I do not claim to have reinvented marketing. My work builds on proven direct response principles and classic market psychology, then adapts them to the online world in a clearer, more usable way. I have also developed original tools within that framework, including the 4Ds of Transformation and the MAP process.
Empathic Marketing® is my framework for helping businesses better understand their audience, clarify their message, strengthen their offer, and communicate in a way that feels more relevant, trustworthy, and persuasive.
That includes helping generate close to $3M for a realtor coach client, helping a boot camp gym achieve a 36:1 return on ad spend, and helping guide Rachel Miller toward a business that generated over $200,000 in four months.
Because AI is now part of how people research, compare, and choose businesses. My view is that AI Visibility is not about tricks. It is about making a business easier to understand, trust, verify, and recommend through stronger messaging, proof, structure, technical clarity, and consistency across the web.
No. On-page content matters a lot, especially for more specific and nuanced searches, but it is not the whole picture. Technical structure, off-page signals, consistency, and accessibility also matter.
No. I do not claim to control AI platforms or guarantee rankings. What I do understand is how to improve the message, proof, structure, and supporting signals that make stronger visibility more likely.
If you want proof, start with the case studies. If you want to understand the AI side, read the AI Visibility articles. If you want the broader story and philosophy, visit the About page. If you already think I may be the right fit, reach out.
